During these months, the plains to the south of the region witness the birth of wildebeest cubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The wildebeest, or white-tailed wildebeest, is a large antelope that forms huge herds that migrate through the Serengeti in search of fresh and abundant pasture. The migration is a natural spectacle, with thousands of wildebeest moving en masse, accompanied by other species such as zebras and antelopes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Female wildebeest choose <strong>January and February <\/strong>to give birth to their cubs, as food resources are abundant and temperatures are relatively warmer at this time.
